Passed the Santolan-Benitez intersection last night and got caught on this stupid traffic jam. Took around 15 mins for me to get past it, which is pretty bad considering that I was around 150 meters away when I first stopped.
Wala kasi talagang bigayan, kelangan ma-una palagi. Kelan ba matututong magbigayan ang mga pinoy? This really is the number one failing of Filipinos.

No wonder it's always traffic on weekday mornings on Pasong Tamo leading towards EDSA. The jeeps are blocking everyone!
And, since they use the ground-level u-turn road to turn around, they end up blocking all the vehicles on Pasong Tamo on both sides of EDSA.

Palagi naman may mga MMDA enforcers dito. Ba't wala sila'ng ginagawa?

Just want to show the traffic earlier tonight.
Seems like this was caused by all the shoppers trooping to Ayala Center's Midnight Madness, 'cos after you get past the turn-off to Ayala Avenue, wala nang traffic.

Here's a shot of the traffic on Ortigas Ave. from the EDSA-Ortigas flyover, heading towards Greenhills, taken earlier tonight.
Not really sure what caused it, but it was something on Connecticut.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Metro Manila traffic, here's a sample of what traffic on EDSA looks like during last Friday evening's rush hour.
This typically starts from Buendia and goes on until Ortigas. Even to the untrained mind, the traffic is obviously caused by buses loading and unloading improperly, blocking traffic. Guadalupe, Pioneer, Shaw Boulevard and Ortigas, these all contribute to the tremendous traffic on EDSA.

How long will it take before the MMDA realizes this and does something about it? There's been some effort to address this problem and I'm sure these have contributed somewhat. But it's just so irritating to see buses still flaunt the law by stopping on the second or third lane to load or unload commuters while traffic enforcers stand idly by.

And, don't give me that crap about there aren't enough buses on the road. Even on rush hours, most of the buses I see aren't even half-full!
