Huli ka!

Just look at this JS Liner (tama ba?) bus. The merging traffic leading to the underpass is already really bad, with at least four full lanes merging into three, nadagdagan pa ng ulol na 'to.
Where are all the MMDA enforcers who hang around this place?

Passed the Santolan-Benitez intersection last night and got caught on this stupid traffic jam. Took around 15 mins for me to get past it, which is pretty bad considering that I was around 150 meters away when I first stopped.
Wala kasi talagang bigayan, kelangan ma-una palagi. Kelan ba matututong magbigayan ang mga pinoy? This really is the number one failing of Filipinos.

Why can't a large number of drivers do this?
Can't they understand that this adds to the traffic?

Here's an example of another bad habit of Filipino drivers.
The green Toyota Hi-Ace was blocking the lane for vehicles turning right on the Commerce and Acacia intersection in front of Ayala Alabang, despite the fact that the street leading to this intersection can accommodate around 5 lanes for vehicles crossing Acacia. No consideration talaga pag Pinoy!

Just look at this Isuzu Trooper, with plate number XAP 650, blocking the Ortigas-Madison intersection at 6:57pm.
Not only is he blocking vehicles heading towards EDSA on Ortigas, but he actually blocked one of the lanes coming from Xavier. No consideration at all.

Saw this guy park in front of Brother's Burger beside Don Bosco earlier tonight at around 6:48pm.
Despite the numerous parking slots available, the driver decided to just park on the road, blocking two of the slots.This just really shows how inconsiderate Filipinos are when it comes to driving habits. The funny thing is that he actually had a difficult time turning his car around before he parked on the side. Wouldn't it have been a lot easier just to park it in the slot and turn the car around while backing out?

This pic was taken last Friday, October 7, at 8:49am, at the Pasay Road-South Super Highway intersection.
This SUV, with plate number TBV 208, and the vehicle in front of it were straddling between two lanes, which was pretty unfortunate for the Vios. It's pretty obvious that this practice adds to the congestion.

And just look at the traffic enforcer, calmly ignoring anything that's happening.

Filipino motorists also have another nasty habit, that of making their own lanes when the proper ones don't suit them. Here are a couple of examples:
This Pajero behind me was trying to make a new lane on Ortigas Avenue, right before the EDSA-Ortigas intersection, earlier this evening.
And later on that same evening, these southbound buses on EDSA didn't care how many lanes they were in, as long as they get to the passengers first.

Are Filipino drivers so moronic that they don't know what the lines are for? And don't they realize they're actually blocking other vehicles by staying on two lanes at the same time? Is it really that difficult to follow the lines or are they just so intent on themselves that everything and everyone else doesn't matter?

Unfortunately, I believe there's really no law that disallows this practice, so correcting this behavior will be extremely difficult.
