Finally! They've decided to construct an overpass at the Bicutan Interchange! Not only are they building one right in front of the SM Bicutan exit (the one on the corner)...
...but they're building a second one on the west side of the Interchange too (yung sa may palengke).
Tingin ko sobrang laking tulong nito sa pagbawas ng trapiko dito. Kaya, salamat sa MMDA!

Not only is it a jeepney stop, it's also a major pedestrian crossing.
I wonder when the MMDA will do something about this? May outpost naman sila d'un sa harap nito'ng lugar na 'to.

Just look at this example, taken on SLEX near the Nichols interchange.
Aside from being dangerous, these definitely add to the traffic.

Maybe they should just remove the pedestrian overpass at the Magallanes-EDSA intersection. Nobody uses it anyway.

The stretch of SLEX between Pasay Rd. and the Magallanes flyover is really dangerous, due to the high number of pedestrians crossing the highway.

I wonder why the local government doesn't just build a pedestrian overpass for these people.

This was taken at the Bicutan interchange, right in front of SM Bicutan.
The number of people who cross the road are amazing. And despite the presence of SM guards and PNCC enforcers to manage these pedestrians, the sheer numbers just make it so difficult that they end up as a traffic hazard.
Although SM built a pedestrian overpass, it's just too far from the intersection. I think it's time that the Paranaque City government builds a new pedestrian overpass.

As promised in a previous post, here's a picture of one of the brave individuals crossing the South Super Highway underneath the Magallanes Interchange.
Maybe she's running to get to the safety of the PNP Checkpoint. Minsan talaga, iisipin mo na lang na tatanga-tanga lang talaga ang ating mga pulis. Harap-harapan na, hindi pa rin makuha.
