Saw this Ford Ranger in Ayala Alabang this morning.
This is actually the second sighting of this particular vehicle, as they were seen before on EDSA, as recorded in a previous post. The Cadillac Escalade was actually right behind the Ranger.
I wonder who this guy is? More importantly, I wonder how he gets away with openly violating our traffic laws?

Yes I always see this tandem vehicles abusing other motorists.
Well, to be honest, I haven't really seen them "bothering" other motorists in the three times I have seen them (twice, I got pictures, the other time I didn't). Haven't seen their blinkers blinking nor their wang-wangs (which I'm sure they have) blaring. And they haven't been cutting other vehicles or forcing those in front to give way.
However, as privately registered vehicles, they are still not allowed to use blinkers or wang-wangs. And even if this guy was the First Gentleman, he is still not above the law.
SIRENS and blinkers are allowed in motor vehicles designated for official use by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, National Bureau of Investigation, Land Transportation Office and hospital ambulances. Members of these groups may be using privately owned vehicles.
It's usually the driver that has the proper credentials.
Really? Could you point out a link or the appropriate agency where I can get a copy of the guidelines for the issuance of blinkers and sirens to privately owned vehicles? I'd really appreciate it as this would help clarify a lot of the complaints regarding the blatant and illegal use of these.
