Government issued Honda Civic with plate no. SGY 351, seen on May 1, 2005, 11:33am at Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City, turning left going to the 3+1 day sale at SM Megamall.
Di ba bawal gamitin ang government vehicle for personal use at walang pasok sa government office?

That is really against the law, unfortunately it's a common thing nowadays!

There is a ray of hope though. My mom's friend would not allow his son to take the car even for a 5-minute drive. How I wish more government officials were like her!

i'm sure there are some officials out there that are like that. not all of them are bad eggs.

the other side of the coin here is that if we want to improve the quality of people in our government, we would need to attract them with corporate-like incentives, one of which is the use of a "company" car for their official AND private use. i suppose one way they can distinguish between cars assigned to "executives" and the rest is by stamping the vehicle with an "official use only" marking on the side. this would make unauthorized use of these vehicles much more obvious.
