Saw this sign on that police outpost on the EDSA-Ayala intersection.
What the heck is a Closed Door Policy? Does this mean that citizens can't go in? Kinda goes against transparency and projecting an image of being easy to approach.

UPDATE 05/15/06: An anonymous poster has graciously pointed out that the Closed Door Policy refers to buses. I suppose this prevents them from loading and unloading near the corner, where they can block those turning right to McKinley. Thanks!

Correction: Close Door Policy are for Buses. They are not allowed to load/unload in that particular site.

Yes, they are pretty dumbfounded to put a term that bus drivers have to be apprehended first before they know about it.

I only knew it too when I saw a commuter inside a bus with me trying to go off the bus at that area. The conductor simply stopped him.

Makati Traffic Authorities plus MMDA as usual. They don't assist so they could get some tips.
