Saw this Honda City going southbound on SLEX earlier this afternoon. Hayop talaga magmaneho!
Trying to cut in the middle of two cars, swerving from one lane to the other, trying to overtake on that really slim service road, this guy did it all! If he had an emergency, then all he had to do was turn on his hazard lights. At least, people would then be forewarned.

This one was traveling around 45kph on C5.

Just look at this guy, blocking the vehicles crossing the intersection.
The enforcer should have just asked him to go straight, turn left or use some other alternative route.

They should really find a better way to do this as the traffic they cause can get quite bad.
Anyway, aren't these smoke belchers caught during registration? Maybe they should just concentrate their efforts on making sure that the emissions test is corruption-free.

Just wonder why people still get caught these days, especially at the stretch of EDSA between P. Tamo and Pasay Rd., and between Ayala and Buendia. Palagi naman may nanghuhuli dito.

Saw these guys help this Corolla at the Bicutan interchange earlier tonight.
Anyway, kudos to these guys. I just wish that the Skyway patrol guys would have stepped in a lot earlier and helped him set his car aside, considering that they were causing a bit of traffic with all the pushing forwards and backwards.

Saw this truck on Sucat Rd. at around 5:09pm today.
The smoke was so bad, you couldn't even see the plate number.

Are these allowed?
If it were a four number blue plate, which is what the local ambassadors use, then I would understand.

Just look at these guys parking right in front of Asian Hospital, between the access roads to the emergency entrance and the main driveway.
Don't they know that they inconvenience vehicles going into and out of the access roads? And there are signs, for God's sake!

A little bit of traffic was caused by these guys, who seemed to be holding a ceremony of sorts in the EDSA-Ayala underpass.
With these guys on the outermost lane, and a whole bunch of government vehicles on the innermost lane, only one lane was available. Can't they hold this at some ungodly hour when there are only a few vehicles on this road?

A flatbed truck rear-ended another flatbed truck right in the middle of the southbound lane of the EDSA-Ortigas flyover. Caused a little bit of traffic, with all the debris and everything.
Anyway, I know they're just doing their jobs, but these counterflowing, parked MMDA vehicles were'nt helping any. They should have just parked on the same lane as the trucks, so oncoming vehicles wouldn't have to suddenly swerve to the middle lane to avoid them.

Here's a Civic with really dark tinted plate covers. I think the plate number is ZAF730.

Saw this Accord on SLEX going southbound at around 5:18pm, with his blinkers on (which, unfortunately, I was not able to take a pic despite several attempts).

Anyways, the car didn't have government plates.

'Kala ko bawal ang swerving? Well, seems like the driver of this Skyway bus doesn't think so.
Wonder when the Filipinos will learn to "practice what they preach"?

Ang kakapal talaga ng iba'ng tao!
No consideration for others. Kaya hindi umaasenso 'tong Pilipinas.

Not only is it a jeepney stop, it's also a major pedestrian crossing.
I wonder when the MMDA will do something about this? May outpost naman sila d'un sa harap nito'ng lugar na 'to.

Ditto on this one.
Ginawa pang talyer ng motorsiklo.

First posted here on March 8 of this year.

Wala pa rin hanggang ngayon.
First posted here on February 20 of this year.

Just look at these cars heading southbound on SLEX this morning.
They were running around 60-70kph, ignoring everyone who were passing them on the right.

They should really put on a major information campaign to rename it the "overtaking" lane. You never know, it may just be the trigger that changes everyone's perception.

Saw this AMA bus with no rear plate on SLEX going southbound this morning.
How difficult is it to come up with one of those temporary plates anyway?

Sunday, April 23, 2006

Sunday morning and these buses were weaving in and out of the yellow lane on EDSA northbound.
Except for that one comment on an old post, we have never heard of any buses being apprehended because they were outside their designated lanes. Again, I recall Bayani Fernando stating that they should stay within the yellow lanes in a previous interview on Breakfast at Studio 23 a long time ago. Totoo ba talaga 'yon sinasabi n'ya?

Saw this SUV (not sure what kind it is) ignore the red light on the Commerce Ave.-Acacia Ave. intersection in Ayala Alabang at 12:59pm.
Hay naku!

Three separate vehicles stopped on southbound SLEX added to the traffic there around lunchtime.

First one was a taxi on the Magallanes flyover, second was a mini truck right after the C5 flyover and the third was another minitruck right after Bicutan.

Wonder who this guy is escorting that he can stop traffic in one of Makati's busiest intersection at 10:33am this morning?

Kelangan ba naman malaman ng lahat na konsehal ka?
Anyway, is this a legal commemorative plate? And shouldn't this be placed in front?

They're back in their favorite spot, catching yellow lane violators.
Sana naman magpatawad sila in the spirit of Easter.

Thursday, April 13, 2006

Just look at these buses at the Pioneer bus stop on northbound EDSA. They're practically occupying four of the five lanes.
And to think it was Maundy Thursday!

Wednesday, April 12, 2006

Again, nothing has yet been done to fix this.
Hay naku. Wala na ba talaga'ng pagasa ito?

Until now, nothing has been done to move these concrete road barriers that are currently eating into the northbound third lane on C5. These are the ones located underneath the bridge leading towards Market Market!
This was first posted here last February 20, which is 51 days ago. Sino ba talaga ang dapat mag-asikaso nito?

This HM Transport bus (bus number A-76), seen northbound on SLEX at 2:48pm today, was definitely contributing to the deterioration of our environment.
Grabe talaga sa usok!

Saw this Ford Expedition in Ayala Alabang at 2:35pm this afternoon.

Too bad he turned before we could get a pic of his rear plate, which he definitely had.

Tuesday, April 11, 2006

This Hi-Ace, seen going southbound on SLEX at around 9:09am, had one of the darkest plate covers we have ever seen.
Even the harshest tweaks on Photoshop couldn't make the plate number come out.

Went to the Paranaque office of the LTO today and was surprised that they have implemented a parking fee, starting January this year. Anyway, here's a picture of the parking ticket.
Asked the guard about this and he said that this acts as the official receipt. If so, then where's the TIN?

Isn't this illegal? And to think this place houses a government office. Calling the Paranaque local government! Ninanakawan kayo (pati na din ang mga mamamayan) right underneath your noses!

Na-gang-bang 'tong driver na 'to.
Kawawa naman.

Saturday, April 08, 2006

Saw this Honda Jazz (BCS 824) using tinted plate covers on EDSA, going northbound, at around 10:34am.
Since the UVVRP has been suspended, hindi na kelangan nito. Unless, of course, he goes to Makati.

Saw this Revo (XKD 614) on EDSA early today, sporting blinkers.
Seems like a bodyguard car, as he was trying to catch up with the black Expedition in the pic.

Bawal ba talaga 'to? Ba't ang dami sobra na naman sa kalye? Bulgaran pa.

Thursday, April 06, 2006

Finally, the mayors have approved the MMDA resolution to suspend UVVRP from April 6 to June 2. As expected, Makati is not included and shall still continue with UVVRP during this time.

Anyway, here's the link to the announcement from the MMDA website.

Saw these PNP guys counter-flowing on SLEX towards Quirino at around 2:56pm today. Must have been a major operation as there was a large truck full of cops and a number of scooters.
Hehehe. Scooters. Ang cheap naman nila!
